Rebuild Gainesville assists low-income home owners with emergency repairs. Volunteer labor and donated resources are used to complete the work. Our ability to do a project depends on the availability and skill level of volunteers, money, and time constraints. Past projects include roof repair, flooring, drywall, minor electrical and plumbing, insulation, window and door replacement, and ramp building.
Who can Apply: Anyone in the Gainesville area with emergency home repair needs is welcome to apply with Rebuild Gainesville.
What is “emergency home repair”: Rebuild Gainesville focuses on repairs that are creating unsafe living conditions. We work on projects such as sealing a home from weather, creating better accessibility, plumbing and electrical issues, and much more. Please contact us if you are unsure if your house would qualify for our repair program.
How can I apply: If you would like to apply for home repair, please fill out our “Home Repair Application” and return it to Rebuild Gainesville. Applications can be faxed, emailed, mailed, or phoned in to the office.
